Why do I create
I make art to translate the seen beauty of life into vibrant, tangible artworks that inspire, heal, and connect people to something greater than themselves. My studio is more than a space for creating art; it is a place for reflection, meditation, and joy. I begin most days with prayer and intention, guided by God.
Preparing for a sale is not ideal for my creative practice. I find it difficult to create, knowing it’s for a purpose other than my own need for wonder and creation. This sense of wonder is my true starting point, the idea behind every project I begin. Photography often guides this process because it allows me to observe, slow down, and translate fleeting moments of beauty into something tactile and enduring through drawing, painting, or printing.
My art exists because of a deep human need for connection. Whether through an original painting or drawing, a delicate print, or a wearable creation, I hope to offer a sense of emotional resonance and belonging.
